This toy is good for my cat. She really enjoys the challenge of getting her treats or food from the ball.
The drawbacks are that to begin with, it took her quite a long time to figure out how to get the treats out. But one she did it was fine.
The other negative thing is that, because of the design, the ball sometimes gets stuck on the side where the hole that the food comes out of is. So it doesn't just roll on its own all the time and I will have to come and put it the right way up for her to play with again. Otherwise she will have to push it really hard with her paw, and this often just shunts the ball along the floor, but not tipping it over and making it roll again.
Last drawback is the hard material it is made from means that it is very loud rolling across a wooden floor (doesn't roll on carpet very well in my experience).
Another tip for the designers is to allow the top to screw off so you can put lots of treats in at once rather than having to feed them individually through the holes.
